haha, johns hopkins accepted me. having re-read my supplementary essay (in which i compare jellyfish carcasses to "squishy muffin tops"), I can only deduce that this acceptance represents either a severe lapse of judgment on the part of the admissions committee, or a broadening of affirmative action policies to benefit freaks.
anyways, this is very exciting and quite encouraging, but also a little bit ominous. given the statistics of how many schools any given applicant can expect to be accepted to, there's a flood of rejections in the mail with my name on it. lets hope i was able to use the shock factor (via unorthodox similes) successfully enough to trick a few more admissions committees into accepting me.
i've worked out my predictions for which schools i think will reject, waitlist, and accept me, but i won't post them here. writing them down would make them seem more official, and thus much more likely to jinx me.

in other news, rivalry was fun! seniors totally dominated, but that's not really news. i hope banquet's good!! i also hope that no one blabs the theme before friday evening.
ALSO i am so pumped for capture the flag tomorrow. yeah!
