白紙 (white paper); 讓一切隨風 (let the wind take it all)

wanted to write about the dimensions of words, how words can affect us, the poetics of words and i came up with crap lol. the titles have nothing to do with the drabbles themselves, they were just titles of songs i was listening at that point of time (i am lazy and it's 4am now).

白紙 (white paper). pg-13.
beast, doowoon
fluff?, 191 words
i collect your words and wear them around my neck.

白紙 (white paper)
words fall around dongwoon all the time, like fresh snow littering the streets on christmas night.

it is only doojoon's that he catches and strings them around his neck. (words that are physically spoken, words in a song doojoon hums to himself, words caught in the back of the older one's throat; all these dongwoon catches).

(stories are created with words that spell of distressing damsels and a knight in a shining armor. in dongwoon's book, there is only the language of yoon doojoon fast filling up the pages till there isn't an inch of white space left.)

sometimes the words hurt, (thrown out carelessly and angrily) piercing a little of the skin on his neck. sometimes, words laden with too many meanings weigh him down and he wonders if the invisible string around his neck is actually a fetter in disguise, imprisoning him.

but all these are forgiven, they rust and fall to the ground. because nothing else matters when doojoon tells him three words.

now he only wears a string around his neck, the pendent of i love you sitting quite close to the quiet thumping of his heart.

讓一切隨風 (let the wind take it all). pg-13.
beast. junkwang
fluff (i guess). 309 words.
i didn't mean for the words to hold you down.

讓一切隨風 (let the wind take it all)
when kikwang first spoke the words to junhyung , all breathless and serious, his words coming out in a rush (like a hurricane bent on devastating all living things in it’s way), junhyung turned away (because he couldn’t let his heart get destroyed).

that’s when kikwang first realized his mistake. he saw the way junhyung walked away, his feet in chains, held shackled by the weight of his words and he was horrified.

because someone told him that those three words weren’t meant to be trifled with but he never thought much of it. but now junhyung was suffering, imprisoned by the bars of his willful rashness and he was never going to forgive himself.

all he wanted to do was cut away the bubble wrap the other had so foolishly secured around the other’s heart. now an extra padlock was hanging around the small heart, suffocating it’s ability to beat (and love) while his own heart lies in pieces on the floor, waiting for somebody to pick them up.

that was what he thought.

when junhyung first told kikwang the exact three syllables the other had told him many months ago, his words slow and gentle (like the caressing waves on the shore), the pair of crescent moons came up on the night of kikwang’s face and junhyung found enough light in his heart to guide his fingers through the spaces between the other’s fingers.

that’s when kikwang realized the truth: his words were never an imprisonment to junhyung. they were the exact hammer that slowly broke down the walls, the key to the wooden chest that held his heart.

(junhyung still carries a chest around in his heart; a chest that holds kikwang’s laughter, smiles and the light in the younger’s eyes that guides him home when it gets too dark.

because kikwang is home to junhyung.)

i'm sorry i disappointed everyone with crap fics :(
