Car accidents are becoming popular..don't fall into the fatal trend.

...So, i was told earlier this evening that a fatal car accident occurred a few days ago. I actually knew the victims, not well though, i mean we socialized in class a bit and we shared a few projects and assigements in junior high and high school. They were a pair of brothers, twins in fact, Josh and Jordan, they were nearly inseperatable... Anyways, I was told that a large truck had ran through a red light at the intersection on 7th avenue and Northern. The truck had been going 60 MPH when it hit the twins Civic, crumpling like tin foil before causing them to skid 600 feet from the collision site....The final out come, as i was told Josh was pronounced dead at St. Joshephs and jordan was sent and still remains in the Intensive Care Unit at Good Samaritan..
...It was so weird for me to hear that someone i had known since the 7th grade had perished in a lurid car accident, while his other half lying in the ICU with a 50/50 chance at life. Both Josh and Jordan were 17 years old, both had just finished their Junior year and were preparing for their Senior year, their final year of required, free schooling. It's just interesting i suppose, when some thing like this happens..granted it happens quite often, but when it's to someone you know personally or as even just an acquaintance it seems to take up every part of your brain, invade every spot in your mind, engulf your world..atleast for a few minutes in time. I guess i am still flabbergasted at the event, for i have never had anyone i knew get completely destroyed by a product of human advancement. I suppose this is just another one of those examples that goes to show you how precious life can be and how quickly it can be snatcged away. Rest in peace Joshua.....take care kidos and watch your selves on the road, i don't want anyone else falling into to this fatal trend.
