I hated The Pop Girls. D: I know, they're Pinoy Pop, but seriously. They look cheap and they don't have the cool image that XLR8 is giving out. (I dunno. Maybe I'm just biased because they're a boy band. ... Damn, that dance teaser. I want me some hip swiveling boys)
And I know that you do not intend to offend, and that it is your perspective, however I believe that I should probably give my 2 cents worth.
I don't really mind the Taglish in the lyrics. Mostly because of the fact that we, in general, don't speak pure Filipino every time.
And, having a little bit of English in their songs kind of help the non-Filipino fans to, I dunno, follow the song. If you know what I mean? (It's like Dora the Explorer!) And it also helps them to adapt and to learn our beautiful language. Personally, I kind of learned Japanese because I followed the Romaji + English translation (with the help of the English words for placement!). I don't really know how to ( ... )
