Woah. I was shocked when uchihakitsune /surfwithanalien posted a video, and as I read, it said "Ppop" which is like Pinoy Pop.

So first I was like "HUH." then she started explaining that to some of us, it will be kind of "jologs"(lower than corny) but that in other countries like Japan and Korea, that JE and SM Ent is Jologs to some of them too. So well,

i wish they'd still become popular though they'll be debuting in GMA. i admit that i'm biased, and i like ABS-CBN waaaay better than GMA but this attitude of mine has a basis. i think there's no need for an explanation. and i hope xlr8 won't be like pop girls.

AND AND AND I HOPE SOMEONE FROM VIVA WILL READ THIS. DON'T USE TAGALOG-ENGLISH/TAGLISH IN THEIR SONGS. JUST USE PURE FILIPINO OR PURE ENGLISH. THANK YOU.

me too actually i like ABS CBN better, but my perspectives has slightly changed na mas jologs ang GMA kesa sa ABS kasi kinuha ng ABS pop girls, and kinuha ng GMA XLR8. :T

Hi! Random person here from Chesca's flist (who also introduced her to XLR8 lololol)

I hated The Pop Girls. D: I know, they're Pinoy Pop, but seriously. They look cheap and they don't have the cool image that XLR8 is giving out. (I dunno. Maybe I'm just biased because they're a boy band. ... Damn, that dance teaser. I want me some hip swiveling boys)

And I know that you do not intend to offend, and that it is your perspective, however I believe that I should probably give my 2 cents worth.

I don't really mind the Taglish in the lyrics. Mostly because of the fact that we, in general, don't speak pure Filipino every time.

And, having a little bit of English in their songs kind of help the non-Filipino fans to, I dunno, follow the song. If you know what I mean? (It's like Dora the Explorer!) And it also helps them to adapt and to learn our beautiful language. Personally, I kind of learned Japanese because I followed the Romaji + English translation (with the help of the English words for placement!). I don't really know how to
