WTF!
I have been quiet about this as I have been a bit too busy at work...
Isn't it the job of the government to provide infrastructure, maintain order, and take care of their citizens?
Last time I checked this is the only reason that governments exist. Obviously our government, THE Super Power in the world, has failed in all three aspects of its job. If I failed in my job to this degree, I would be fired. There would be no inquiry or long, drawn-out commission--I would simply be fired for my deplorable conduct and ineptitude.
It's long past overdue--but we need to fire Bush!
There are no execuses that he can come up with that will bring back the lives lost in New Orleans.
There are no press conferences that he can hold that will undo the damage that his administration has caused.
There are no words that President Chuckles can say that will erase the pain of those that were forgotten by their own government.
At least the people care, it's the god damned politicians that don't...
