The Iraqi Constitution
So Islam is to stay fundamental in government operations, women's rights do not exist--What a fantastic Democracy!
Truly our onprovoked attack on a sovereign nation, killing thousands of Iraqi civilians and our own soldiers, has been completely worth while as we have managed to instill an amazing, progressive democracy in the Middle East.
Now I agree that Sadam was a terrible dictator that commited many human rights violation against his own people, but if I remember correctly, we (the United States citizens) were given three reasons for invading Iraq:
1. Weapons of Mass Destruction -- Never existed!
2. Iraq's connection to 9/11 -- Never existed!
3. Bring Democracy to the People of Iraq -- Not in this constitution! (I suppose this might be true if you are a male--but certainly not for women)
All we have managed to do, thus far, is kill thousands of people, isolate ourselves through terrible foreign policy, and incite many Muslims into further violence and terrorism. AWESOME!
This is truly a HUGE victory for the United States. And I must say, I am proud of my current government leaders.
