I'd like to add that I am in favor of an armed citizenry....although back in the day there WERE limitations....civilians did not own cannons....so you can limit what I can own...to a point.
I like the idea of the right to life, liberty and the pusuit of happiness. What is a synonym for happy, you ask? GAY I believe in the right to pursue gayness as a way of life and liberty.

As for Amendment II, I agree that we totally need armed citizenry--otherwise how would you have a revolution! It's just a shame that this seems to mean it's acceptable to have assault rifles and semi-automatic hand guns on our streets.
Isn't it always the case, though, that those that cannot handle firearms in a lawful and responsible way, far out number those citizens that can and should....
