I went and saw "V" with Ian on Saturday. This movie was so much more than I expected. I can't stop thinking about it. I just can't wrap my head around all of its nuances. Hugo Weaving was incredible. He had only his voice, but it was more than enough to impart so much emotion.
Truly an amazing flick. I recommend it to all. I just can't stop thinking about it....
Of course those that need to see this movie simply won't, as they will see it as un-American or un-Partiotic.
What so many people don't understand is that it is MORE partiotic to question authority. That's what the founding fathers did, they questioned and protested against the English crown. This country was founded on the principle that you shouldn't trust your government and you should hold them accountable for change. When the English crown failed to make changes, we broke away. It's just that simple. The most important thing and most patriotic thing you can do for this country is question the leaders.
It's what we're all about. So be the very best
patriot you can be!
