Went to Romanian Kosher Sausage and bought: ground beef, smokey snacks, sliced pastrami, breakfast sausage, pot pies, chicken nuggets, a salami, and a corned beef sammich.
Went to New York Kosher on Devon and bought: Hannukah candles and a family size bag of barbecue Bisslis.
Went to a Judaica shop and bought: a cheap tin Channukiah and a big blue dreidel. Would have bought a nice Channukiah if I had actually liked any of the ones on display enough. Oh well.
Went to Kol Tuv on Devon and bought: nothing.
Went to Tel Aviv bakery on Devon and bought: two loaves of seeded rye bread, after discovering that they don't take plastic and running down to the CVS to get cash from the in-store ATM.
Went to Golden Pacific and bought: green tea mochi, green tea bubbles, and KIRIN MILK TEA.
Went home and started chili with ground beef. Made sufganiyot and was mostly successful (although the oil was too hot, so they got a little overdone on the outside), and ate chili and was content.
