It's Anime Vegas time again and I'm working on this year's costume!

Project Title : Victorian Maiden Replica
Short Project Description: A loose replica of this dress

Projected Deadline: August 30, but I'll be done sooner! Yay!
Pattern(s) Used: MccCall's 5380 (dress) and Simplicity 3737 (petti - sadly out of print)
Materials needed: Blue cotton w/ pink roses and pink braid
Challenges or obstacles : Just adding the ruffles and braid and adding fullness to the 65' hem.



Project Updates Form
Project name: Victorian Maiden Replica
Progress: 85% - Need straps, hem ruffle, zipper, and lining needs to be finished.
Problems encountered that halted progress: Not much. The pattern is pretty simple and fit for the most part first time around.



As you can see, it only needs the ruffle at the hem! Oh, and I need to finish the straps. They're just pinned on.



I'm not really very busty, but you would never know to look at this pic. My dress dummy has a larger bust and a smaller waist than I do.
