Standing in the parking lot. The tornado sirens going, the radio reporting a tornado spotted from Goose Island (about two miles south of us). And seeing a huge rotating wall cloud right above our apartment.

Sadly, raptor jesus did not step, robed, from the sky to pick me up and whisk me away to dinosaur heaven.

I'm terrified, relieved, and disappointed all at the same time.
