Rationally, he knows he's not one of the biggest guys around. Really, he's kind of scrawny. He has no idea what the hell a Jabberwocky looks like, but he assumes it's prolly pretty big, or the Queen wouldn't be so worried about it. So, rather than wait around with a shotgun or something and risk it being too big to shoot down, he's come up with a much better, sneakier plan.
He's spent most of the day setting up bear traps in various places around mirror side. Y'know, like how a real American catches a Jabberwocky. ...You might wanna watch your feet. The camera just catches a quick shot of him setting up a trap and looking rather determined to get it right, before flickering right back off.]
