Continued from this.Michael and Brooke were both drunk, no doubt about that. After their quick game of 'I Never' and waiting for the world to stop moving, they'd left the bar in a cab in search of a place where they could compete to see which would get them into a club: hair or boobs. The winner would be obvious, but being in the state he was in, ( Read more... )

The chill in the night air had helped Brooke sober up slightly, but she was definitely still more than a little drunk. It had been a while since she'd gotten drunk with a stranger, and it made her feel like she had somehow turned into the girl she was just a few short years ago.

Leaning back against the seat and looking over at Michael, Brooke purser her lips a little as she tried to think of somewhere to go. After a few moments, complete with the cab driver watching her in the rear view mirror, she sat up. "I know the perfect place," she said to Michael before turning to the driver, telling him the name of a club she'd been wanting to check out.

Smirking, Michael sat back and folded his arms. "Still don't think you'll be able to get us in. You watch. It'll be the pretty hair."

Brooke rolled her eyes as she sat back as well. "Yeah," she said, taking hold of some of her hair, "My pretty hair. And boobs." Unless the bouncer was gay - or female - she didn't really think they'd care about hair either way.

"We'll see about that." He folded his arms defiantly. Because Michael wasn't a guy that would never admit defeat.

"You're going to pout when I win, aren't you?" In a dramatic, and probably hilarious action, Brooke crossed her arms as well, just to mock him. She even stuck her lower lip out a little in a pout, as if showing Michael what she meant.

He snorted, which was more of a long, drawn out version of a snort. "I'm not gonna pout 'cause I'm not gonna lose. Duh."

The cab pulled up to the club and Brooke start going through her purse to find her cash. "You're pretty cocky there Hair Boy," she half-mumbled as she continued her search.

"'s how I get by in the world, Cheap Shots." He watched her dig in her purse. "Yeesh, you have so much stuff in there you can't find the money?"

"I thought you got by with your charming personality." She shot him a brief look, which was only a half-assed attempt at a glare, and went back to her purse. "No, I just -" She pulls out her cash, a triumphant smirk on her face, "- misplaced it." Paying the driver, Brooke stuck her tongue out at Michael and then got out of the cab.

Michael was a little less graceful about getting out of the cab, but he made it out and around to Brooke's side. "I do get by. But I'm not trying to charm anybody so it doesn't count. Plus, I don't...misplace my money."

Brooke got out okay, but when she went to close the door, she just about fell over. "You let me know if you try charming anybody so I can watch." At the last comment, she playfully shoved Michael. "Shut up, I was drunk when I put it back and at least I didn't drop it at the bar or something."

That got Brooke an eyebrow as he reached out to offer her a somewhat steady hand. "Oh, trust me, you'll know when I'm trying to be charming. And I don't think you can use being drunk in the past tense yet."

She took his hand, even though she wasn't too sure he'd be able to hold her up if she fell. He'd probably just fall over with her. "I so can because I'm not that drunk now."

"You just tried to fall over closing a cab door. Therefore, I'm right and you're still drunk." His expression looked like one of a triumphant five year old that figured out how to spell his name for the fist time. He thought his logic with that was pretty infallible.

"Whatever. The door was slippery." Taking her hand away from his, Brooke smoothed down her top, ignoring the look Michael had on his face. "You ready to lose, Hair Boy?"

"Lets see what you've got, Cheap shots." He smirked, motioning for her to lead the way.
