This has to be the most self-indulgent thing I've ever done here. I'm totally not sorry. *g*
I've been rather ill this past week and especially this weekend, so I've been laid up in bed watching my comfort/happy films. 'Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves' is one I love the very most. I've adored it since childhood and never grown out of it. And because I love sibling relationships in media (see: Winchesters, Stackhouses, Cranes, Petrellis, Skywalkers) this scene is the one of my absolute favourites.
Seeing as I actually had the energy to sit at my computer today I thought I'd treat myself to a little picspam and some icons. Hopefully someone here likes them too. ♥
R: "You were to use this news to get close to me and then kill me right, Will?
What are your intentions?"
W: Well that depends on you, Locksley. I've never trusted you, that's no secret. What I wanna know is, are you gonna finish what you started? I wanna know if he's gonna turn and run like the spoiled little rich kid I always took him for."
R: "Did I wrong you in another life, Will Scarlet? Where does this intolerable hatred for me come from?"
W: Knowing now, that our father loved you more than me."
R: "Our father?"
W: "We are brothers, Robin of Locksley. I am the son of the woman who replaced your dead mother for a time! It was your anger that drove them apart!
R: *shoving Will* "It's a lie!"
W: "It's not a lie! You ruined my life!"
W: "I have more reason to hate you than anyone...but I found myself daring to believe in you. What I wanna know, brother, is will you stay with us and finish what you started?"
R: "I have a brother?...I have a brother."
R: "I will make my stand with you, side by side. 'Til the end."
R: "We finish this."

If by some miracle I ever have a wedding I want one in the forest just like theirs. With the scalp-stabbing-harvest-fruits-head-wreath and everything. It's way pretty.
