hello livejournal, it's been a while.

Sometimes i come online to update my livejournal but i spend my time searching ebay for that perfect find. I did, however, find a very pretty dress which will hopefully be sent to me very soon. Do i wear dresses often? not really... but it's just so pretty!

Today i was doing some giftwrapping when a lady comes up to me and says, "are you busy? there are some items from the cabinet that i want." me: "ahh... " *pause* "no, i'm not." So i whamed a sticker on the books (sorry customer with a horribly wrapped present) and attended to her. Her purchases included: a $1200 ring, a $300 pendant, 2x $240 crystal paperweights (hahaha, i don't have to look at them anymore!) a collection of wood and a Friends of Kings Park calender. It took longer for me to enter them into the MYOB than for her to decide on the items. Some people have waay too much money. We really needed her boost though, our sales for the morning were reaching an all time low. I hope one day a customer will come in and say "you are my favourite salesperson, have anything in the store you want as a thank you gift!" and i'll say, "oh my!"
This really is the first time i havent hated my job.

NYE at Rosemount/Amps was quite fun. I have never seen so many people dance at Amps, though. And by the way, The Fuzz, i didn't like your set.

I had a long sleep in the next morning only to be rushed around to be ready in time to leave for Bussleton/Capel. We left only 1 hour late than expected (maybe next year we can make it on time!). The drive felt a lot shorter than previous times. It must feel faster if you're driving. Thanks to Toms parents for letting us stay at your place (all 15 of us) xxx.
Southbound was just great. I especially loved the plastic tent with no air filled with many many many people. The Shins were my highlight. How i ended up 2nd row is beyond my belief! Ian Brown closely followed. What an entertainer. He should make a work-out-video.
Lowlight: waiting in line 20 minutes for a kebab to be told that they're ALL SOLD OUT. no, not cool.
Thanks for organising it magda :)

This is just a photo of my cousin. She just looks so cute and small.
