New Poem I wrote Today outside in this beautiful weather

Bottles
With each breath that exhales
You can carry my boat's sails
Across this river that breaches me from
You. I carry this flask of rum
To drink the sorrow away,
I dare not indulge today.
For I see your face in the light.
A halo above your head, so bright
It cannot be mistaken for anything
But a golden ring
That it represents in my heart.
Oh I hope how this never departs.
I drink my drink
Until the love stink
Is washed from my lips.
Oh how the scale tips
When your lips touch the cup.
They tell me "it is time to give up."
