"And here we are." Tina made a theatrical gesture with her arms. "The gym!"

Pike took in every angle of the ship as they walked. Even on another ship, in another universe, there was still an aura of command about him as he walked. People blinked in his direction and dropped their gaze, moving off to the sides of the hall as these two dangerous men passed.

Their technology is out of date, and not by only five years. He remarked as they walked.

When they entered the gym, he looked around with careful eyes. Very different indeed, here, in a place where the differences in universes showed so strongly.

They put more energy into diplomacy than warfare. Their science is secondary to their exploration.

The gym is different but it is a difference he can easily accept when he has so much spare energy buzzing through him.

Tina glanced around. She'd hardly been in here, herself, since she got plenty of exercise just doing her job. But it was... a gym. Pretty self-explanatory.

"I'm going to guess you don't really need a guided tour in here," she said.
