Xion's Snowglobe

Dec 31, 2011 19:36

The first scene that appears in the murky depths of the snow globe is a cold, sterile one. There is no warmth, no colour, just a vast round room with thirteen chairs set around the edges.

A good shake will see the scene shift; a castle, shrouded in darkness, it's clearly night time and there's a drawbridge. There's two figures, dressed in black. One standing, a mass of long silver hair falling over his shoulders. The other small, hooded, sprawled at his feet. If you peer hard enough, you can make out a tiny shape like a key between them.

Another shake and the globe goes white again. It's a small room with an even smaller figure curled up in a ball on a stark white bed.

Alone.

Maybe... if the loneliness and the sterility gets too much, you'll shake it again... and then there's a sudden burst of colour. A manor at sunset.

Another shake and a sunset, a clocktower set against a dramatic skyline of blues, violets and brilliant red.

There's a plaza there, and in that plaza there's two last figures, dressed in black again. If you give the snowglobe one final shake, one of the figures seems to disappear as the plaza floods with glittering silver shards before the snowglobe once again fades to white.
