[It's no surprise that Miyabi's out in the forest today, her good mood not a smudge dampened ever since two of her best friends arrived in Liceti. She was just tugging at a wild strawberry to take home when she hears clashing far off in the distance, which she shrugs off. Tons of people come to the forest to train, so it's no big deal. Then the explosion came, and she has to cover her ears from the deafening sound ( ... )

[What, no call for him? 8( Luke doesn't really care though, especially not in the mood he's in. Since it took Miyabi a while to get there, it doesn't take long at all for her to get a reply from Luke, whose voice is rough and quiet.]

[Hey, she didn't know you were involved. D| Luke's voice startles Miyabi - she was expecting to hear Asch - but it has two definite effects on her. First, relief. ...Okay. Asch was okay, they were both okay. Miyabi lets out a huge sigh, practically slumping as the oppressive weight from earlier lifts from her body.

And then, once she's done feeling relief, comes the anger. The anger from being so damn scared, and concerned. She'll apologize later, once she's calmed down and is able to wrap her arms around the two, but for now,...brace yourself, Luke. There is an angry poncle on the other side of that journal, aura shifting to a red hot glow.]

What the heck were you two doing?! I heard a huge explosion in the forest, and when I went to see, I saw a huge hole and Asch's journal all charred and smoking! Do you know how scared I was?! I thought you blew up or something! The moment you get home, I'm going to hit you both so hard, you--you idiots!

[Speaking of Asch, he's carting his dumb replica through the water, and her tirade is not impressive in the least.]

[Herr voice is shrill, and squeaky. ASCH, YOU ARE NOT HELPING, GOD. Miyabi's anger only increases, and the hands holding her journal begin to shake. She wants to explode, to scream at them until her lungs burst, to tell Asch to shut his big mouth or she'll shove a Cherry Bomb down his throat, but she just bites she lip and shakes all over. ...Idiots. Stupid, stupid, stupid idiots!

They're okay. They're okay.

Miyabi utters the tiniest of gasps, and her voice crumbles to pieces. She was so scared, she had thought the worst, but they were okay.]

Just come home!

[She hating sounding so desperate, so weak, but these two were her family, experiment or not.]

[That "drown?!" just made Luke wince and hold the journal away a little. Shrill and squeaky... Just the traits of a voice that he hated. Gah.

But then she speaks again, and her voice sounds completely different. Luke hadn't seen what their disappearance looked like, but... it must've been bad, from what Miyabi said. An explosion, huh... Sounds about right. And for someone to witness, especially someone close...

Luke brings the journal close again and tries for a grin. It's tired, but it's there.]

We're trying. We're not really... going very fast.

[Asch's words hit hard, and it takes only a second for it to register. Luke can't swim. Luke can't swim and it sounds like they're in a large body of water. D-Damnit, those two are going to give her a heart attack...! And just when she was in such a good mood before. Ugh, she really is going to punch them when they get back. Punch them and them hug them tight. She doesn't know what happened to cause this, but she was just so glad they were okay.]

Don't...don't strain yourselves.

[But hurry. Don't drown. She's tempted to grab a bird and rush to them, but...what could she do? Even if she got there, she was so little, she couldn't do anything, and if she sized herself up, it'd take forever to get to where they were. And what could she do then, if she did get there? Swim to them? That's stupid, they'd all get stuck.]

Let me know when you're safe...please. Both of you. If I don't hear from you both, I'll...I'll hate you.

[What. What is going on?! Suddenly Luke was talking, then he was cut off and--...splash?

All Miyabi can see is Luke going under, and Asch pushing him down. She nearly jumps out of her skin, a startled yelp escaping her lips. WHAT THE HELL WAS ASCH DOING?! Miyabi grips her journal, eyes wide with horror and rising fury. This time, though, she doesn't hold back.]

ASCH, I WILL KILL YOU WHEN I FIND YOU!

[Asch scowls, kicking a bit to get Luke back up to the surface. It was just for a second or two, geez.]
