Natalia's gone back.
[And he's... not sure how he even feels about that, especially since it's the second time now. He's not the sort to broadcast his feelings on the matter anyway, so he'll leave it at that.]

If you've prepared everything you need, it's about time we meet.
[Asch won't be around the house much

Well...he did give Asch his word he'd try. That much, he could do.]
Understood. I'll see you at the Battle Dome's medical facility as soon as possible. [A pause.] ...And bring your little pet. The cheagle that I had experimented on. If it's capable of speech here, it may prove useful.
[As much as the little creature had tried to avoid him whenever he came over, Dist had caught glimpses of it out of the corner of his eye here and there.]

Why do you need the cheagle? He's not going to want to see you.

Honestly... Because, as I said, I had experimented on that particular cheagle. If it's the one I think it may very well be...then whatever information I get from it will be very helpful. Unless you'd like me to experiment on you instead, Asch. I wouldn't mind in the slightest, though I'd need to acquire a heavy sedative first...
[Just to shut you up.]

[Arrrrgh, he could kill you 8|]
Fine, I'll bring him. But don't push your luck.
[And you better believe he'll be armed.]

Good. I'll see you and your pet soon enough.
[Dist closes his journal and makes his way to the Battle Dome. It was quite a walk, even though he was a little closer - being near the library and all - but he'll increase his pace and may relatively good time in arriving there.]

Inside here, Asch.

We already talked about this, dammit! He's not... ugh. Stupid. Hey, Dist, say something nice to the damn cheagle already!

Which are you, original or replica? [He has a good guess, but might as well get it straight.]
Reply
...HE'D DO IT ANYWAY THOUGH except Star shakily pipes up that he's the original. And that... is not what Asch expected to hear.]
...What? I thought you were the replica!

I died first. Then I felt something warm, and I woke up... and my replica was gone.

I see... Thank you. [He scribbles more down, and motions towards a bowel of greens set out for the little animal. He can eat if he wants.] And you, Asch? Are you experiencing instability? If so, how long has it been occurring?
Reply
My body's been feeling strange since the replica came back to Luceti. So... roughly five months.
[He's rather uncomfortable with the implications of that, but he doesn't speak up.]

He stood, prepared the items to draw blood, and approached Asch with the needle.]
What I can gather, your body had been relatively stable without the replica's presence, as your fonons had no place to disperse to. Once he was brought here was the moment your dissonance began, and your body's fonon began to separate. ...I can't tell you how to stop it, but you've proven to be rather stubborn when it comes to dying, Asch. I can at least determine the rate of which your fonons are fading, and I can possibly find a way to prolong the Big Bang for as long as I can.
Though that all depends on my finding with your blood. If your fonons are disappearing at a significant pace, there is not much I can do. [He pushed up his glasses, sighing.] ...Roll back your sleeve.

There's something you should know- I already died here once. It's been more than two years now, according to Luceti's calendar. [He pauses, and then adds in a voice as neutral as he can make it-] My fonons separated entirely. There was no Big Bang.
