DS
So I was playing the DS (I had to buy a new one since the old one mysteriously disappeared) with Hikaru when I realized ... has Haruhi ever played one before?
Poor Haruhi ... can't have Ootoro, can't have a DS ... how does she live the life of a commoner??
Maybe I'll bring this with me next time I visit her.
On another note, the games these days seem to be growing more and more complex, almost like they're aimed towards people with Tono's Hikaru's attention span. I mean, there's control of both screens simultaneously, control of equipment and stats, choosing when / what to battle, etc.... ...OK, so that's the case for only one game I know of, and a very unusual one at that, but still...
Hey, I like anything with a good story, so games fall under that category too. Too bad Hikaru found the main character too annoying in the initial stages to continue playing for long... (I think he only lasted 20 minutes, sans cutscene time).
(OOC: I just finished The World Ends With You (Square Enix) and it was wonderful, not meant to be a pun with its Japanese name... It's going to continue consuming my life until I finish the rest of the Secret Reports though...)
