I want to dedicate this post to the presh Kanako Murakami

I met her in 2008, and if you want to know the whole story, click the cut.

Madrid, September of 2008.
The first time an ISU event is hosted in my city, a Junior Grand Prix Event. So westwinter and I needed to be volunteers there.
It was a crazy and amazing week when we met some great skaters&coaches (Armin, Gachinsky, Machida, the whole spanish team, Shibutanis, Peter Grütter, Salome Brunner, etc) and I totally fell in love with Kanako.

She was 13 years old (the youngest competitor in the whole event) and everybody lurved her. The doctor, the zamboni driver, the volunteers, the security people, EVERYBODY WAS WITH HEART IN THEIR EYES WHEN SHE WAS SKATING/WALKING/JUST DOING NOTHING... IT WAS A FUCKING ETERNAL D'AWWWWWW.
Spite of don't speaking a word of english, she was aaaaall the time showing her cute smile.
She drew cute houses in her autographs, thanked the support all the time, and she posed like a boss:

She finished 3rd after a good SP and a not so good LP. Americans Kristine Musademba and Becky Bereswill (both from USA) were gold and silver:

But this little fluffy ball of asian sunshine was the most beloved girl, during the gala she got a huge ovation from the audience thanks to her clean amazing triples and her outstanding charm.

And now, 2 years later, my little girl (and World Junior Champion) has won her first senior medal:

And like I want to make a stan out of you, here you have her too-presh-for-words SP:
