I personally do not see how these feelings and thoughts have yours' can be considered selfish. Simply because you can fence and do enjoy it, does not mean that you should have to associate with people that you do not care for, nor work in a team when that is not what you want. Especially if they aren't the most... accommodating sort. I can understand the frustrations that come with that sort of thing--whenever I'm driven to tears its from anger and frustration, something that usually stems from interacting with other people for a considerable amount of time. I'm bad with people and prefer silence over a lot of noise and chatter.
I'm sorry to hear that things aren't very good. ^^; The first time I heard about Smith was through a TV show and it sounded...a bit odd, really. I do hope though that things ease up, and that you can find a way to work the situation into a good one. Seems odd that High school would be better then college, when people are supposed to be more grown up and open-minded.
It's nice you found a group of people that are nice (also I looked at the comic. That sort of thing, I find is an art form and I believe other people would agree. ^^ It is rather creepy and interesting at the same time.) and that you can talk to properly.
They really teach horseback riding there? Pretty cool sounding. And its silly you have to pay for cocoa. You're already paying school fees...
I've never heard of R.A. Salvatore, but he sounds like a pretty cool guy.
Yeah. I'm with you on that one. For the moment, I think I'll stick it out, though. Just to see. It'll probably calm down after a few practices.
You could say it's odd. So far it's been a good sort of odd, aside from a few bitchy people. But the people in my dorm are very nice, so that's good. And I like my room. I've got my pictures up all over the walls. And my comics and all my tea. I've collected a lot of tea since I've been here. I think I have twelve different flavors. Though only one lonely jar of honey.
Also, I have a Punisher mug, which is one of the more awesome things I've gotten since coming here.
Ah, thank you for looking! It's more experimenting for me than anything, just seeing how things play out as I fuss with them. But I like doing it.
Yeah. Smith does exercise classes for a few credits. They teach a lot of stuff. Swimming, badminton, rock-climbing...lots of stuff. I might try and get into kick-boxing next semester.
Well, I hope so! Everyone else is probably feeling similar, which very well could explain the level of disruption and noise. ^^
Odd isn't always bad, so that's alright? XD May I ask, is the dorm a traditional one? Or a house that you share with other people? The latter is what I saw on the TV show. I'm jealous, just about out of tea over here heh. Stock upp. You'll need that in Winter lol.
A Punisher mug does sound pretty damn sweet.
It's no problem. It does sound interesting, and if you like it well, then it's a good thing. <3
That sounds really neat, actually. You don't hear of many schools that have those things. I wish you luck--Kick boxing seems awesome, although strenous!
You're welcome. ^^ I'm glad to hear that, though. <3
My dorm is a traditional one, but the rest of them are actual houses. We're just the strange, old building with paper-thin walls and weird central heating. The temperature in my dorm is about the same as the temperature outside, unfortunately. We'll see if they get that fixed before the ground freezes >.> Otherwise I'm gonna have to buy some warmer blankets.
Ah, tea is lovely. And I feel secure in my nerdiness with my Punisher mug. Little things like that make me happy.
True, but it would be interesting to try. I like hitting things~
Also, that icon of yours creeps me out. Seriously o.0
Sounds like you got the short end of the stick. XD I hope they do fix it--the cold is abhorrent. And with the money put into college, they should at least provide you with proper central heating lol.
Tea is my favorite beverage~ I never understand how people can like coffee and hate tea. That's good. <3 It's always nice to have simple things like that to provide a "pick-me-up". I would be the same way if I had a Spider Man mug.
Heh. Understandable. Hitting things is a lot more fun then people give it credit.

I hope things improve though, hun. <3
