And then the weird one:

You scored as Moltmannian Eschatology. Jürgen Moltmann is one of the key eschatological thinkers of the 20th Century. Eschatology is not only about heaven and hell, but God's plan to make all things new. This should spur us on to political and social action in the present.

Huh? Never heard of it, and I'm not sure I agree with the implications...
But basically, this quiz had too many technical terms I'm not familiar with, and very few questions that would have brought out what I actually believe. I suspect my beliefs on this don't conform at all well to *any* of their standard categories. =:o}

I also came out as Moltmannian. Strange enough for someone who grew up premillennial and goes to a church that sells the "Left Behind" stuff in the bookstore, but not so strange considering I've been an activist on so many issues.

Chief might come out as amillennial these days, since he got hooked on the Bible Answer Man radio show.

The funny thing is the usage of the term "Kingdom of God" - depending on the church you go to, it might get used a number of different ways. I would (personally) classify myself as "Historic Premillenialist" (or, "Classical Premillenialist") rather than Amillennial. The term "Kingdom of God" in the circles I move in has more Amillennial-ish overtones, having double usage - a kind of "now AND not-yet" reference to the active rule and reign of God. One of the Amillennial questions in the quiz related to Jesus innaugurating the Kingdom is his 1st appearing (so that we now have a 'taste of the future in the here-and-now'), which I agree with, but only fully if you add that his second coming brings the full expression of the Kingdom. So the problem was one of overloaded technical terms.

I dont easily fall into any camp - eschatology is one area of the faith thats open to lots of fun 'in-house' debate - and I think I have a position that would tick off the most people possible ... just to stimulate as much as possible! *grins*
