Have you seen the most recent--I hesitate to call them 'musings'-- entries of our son? I fear we may have let the silence between us carry on rather too long a bit too long. Of course, he does not sound must be fine, but there is only so long we can wait for the child to come to us. Perhaps we shall have to figuratively go to him.
We might be able to turn the up-coming holiday into the perfect excuse. How would you feel about a quiet family gathering at home? There will be more than enough time for the grander event we had planned later in the month. Possibly at this juncture, family cohesion should be placed first. As is said, "'Tis the season."
