I think that pretty much sums everything up. I have been pretty much nonexistant to the world of the internet at the moment and it sucks like all hell. I want to be here, I want to be able to catch up with people and be reliable and jazz but with my deadline still looming over me, and no more essay written thanks to a combination of work and

I'm sorry your essay writing isn't going well! Essay writing for me usually involves LOTS of procrastination and sitting around trying to get over writer's block. I know how annoying it is when you just can't seem to write it. Last semester I kept on handing in my Lit essays late because I just felt so uninspired and had nothing to say about the text and could not put together points or an argument. So I ended up handing them in late. What's your school/teacher's policy on late assignments like? There's always that option? I only got minus 2% for every day that I handed it in late so despite my lateness I still ended up getting good marks anyway! But I think it's only worth doing it if you know that you are going to hand in a REALLY bad half ass essay if you hand it in on time. What's your essay about? Good luck

Ha! I wish my Uni was that nice to just minus 2%. If you hand it in late they used to give you an automatic 0 grade, but now they will mark it but your result is capped at 40% so yeah, even if it's amazing, you can only just get a pass. They are super harsh! xD I've got like 800/3000 words at the moment and I am feeling a little bit more confident but we'll see. And my essay question is about how Fellini and Antonioni depart from Neo-Realism in terms of theme and style ... super fun times! lol

oh wow that sucks! Actually it's just the English department at my uni that's so nice. I study law as well and the Law School is really harsh, I think it used to be a zero grade too but it got changed to a minusing that's a lot more than 2%. 3000 words is a lot too, the most I've had to write is 2000. okay I know nothing about that so I can't help you there. :P Well at least you've got more words, you're getting there

Ha! Yeah. This is the longest I've had to write so far and it's actually killing me. I don't have to write another one this long for a while though so that is good to know! =) Pictures of snow will be on their way asap, it's just icy horrible sluge at the moment so that sucks to look at, but once there is snow again ... good times and photography shall be done! xD

About the Leno show thought I've NEVER been able to find it which is pretty sad really because it was such a big moment BUT the closest I've ever found is this one but it's still nothing in to what I remember. I've not been able to listen to it much because I've had like other music to listen to/haven't been able to afford the album yet but now I have my loan BAM I will be getting it asap. I would love love love to see him live, it actually kills me that I haven't. My friend Luke is going to see him soon but I couldn't afford tickets at the time and whenver he mentions it I just end up getting so sad! xD

That is sad, I totally understand you wanting to find that moment again. Well I could only find the audio of it from youtube so I ripped it. ahh I can see what you mean because eventhough it's only the audio it is AMAZING. I'm always excited when I find different versions of "Clarity" that he's performed!
oh I see, well enjoy it once you can listen to it fully/properly. I think Battle Studies is best appreciated when you listen to the whole thing start to finish with your earphones in, it's such a lush, textured record, I like what John said recently about how there's this sadness running through the songs. It's a pretty awesome listening experience. :D
