So this one I might have to warn about? It’s tame probably but just saying..

Sayu spit out water into a sink of a public bathroom. She wiped her face with a towel and tried to clean herself up. There was a tapping of a foot beside her, waiting for her to respond. Finally, she turned and answered, “He’s annoyed.” She looked straight into the eyes of that bonded’s vampire. The bonded was trying to catch up with her because he was worried, honestly. She was gone for over two weeks with no explanation. They were as close as an informant and investigator could get, especially when his boss was a vampire who allowed him some time before dark to be normal for a while. His name was Kyuhyun.

“Oh really? Just annoyed?” The vampire grinned, she was scheming something. Kyu had tagged along with Sayu while she shopped. He helped carry her clothes and had dinner with her to keep her company. She didn’t imagine his vampire would actually come looking for him, when usually he had a curfew. He confessed after a lull in the confrontation with his vampire that he had contacted her while she was in the changing room and ordered to stick with her. He apologized but she hardly felt unjustified in still being upset with him.

Vampires can tell when someone is bonded. This vampire’s name was Hiyori. She was a council affiliate but she wasn’t important. She was rich and treated her bonded well, as far as Kyu had been allowed to tell her. Sayu didn’t think he was lying; she’s a pretty good judge in that area. She’s also a pretty good liar herself. Sayu started out, “I don’t know what you were expecting. And honestly I could use some air about now, if you don’t mind.”

“I mind but that’s cool, let’s go out. Kyu’s mind is wandering into fantasy too much.” Hiyori winked, she kept alluding to Kyu’s dirty mind this whole time. After meeting Hiyori, she was taken to a carnival with a Ferris wheel and then made to ride it. In conversation with Kyu, she had confessed she had a phobia of heights and laughed about it. There wasn’t any laughing about it now. She felt vulnerable and Jonghyun was… fine. That was fine. Okay. No problem.

“So why won’t you tell me who you’re bonded to? He can’t be that bad, letting you out after only two weeks. Does he bite you, you know, down there?” She glanced down Sayu’s body and then straight back, piercing Sayu’s psyche with a grin. Hiyori was definitely the type that liked to make other people squeamish. She was overjoyed when Sayu started hyperventilating in the Ferris wheel compartment they shared, enough that she moved to push Sayu’s head out of the tiny opening to look down. That’s when Sayu couldn’t handle anymore.

Sayu didn’t answer, she felt like silence was better than any words this woman could twist or use against her. They walked out into the night air, full of laughing and happy screaming. Some scared, but around here no one could tell if it was a vampire or just someone on a ride. Kyu picked up the bags he was nice enough to still be carrying; Sayu figured that was as good a sign as any for her getting out of here at some point. “You know if you keep not giving me what I want I’m going to have to take it from you one way or another.” Hiyori’s threat startled Sayu, and the next second she was being held against the restroom building by her neck.

She stared at Hiyori, suddenly outright defiant when a hand wrapped around her waist and she was squeezed forward into the vampire. She pushed against Hiyori’s shoulders, but they were unmoving as she struggled. They kissed and Sayu screamed into her mouth when the tight grip found her bruised torso in just the wrong way. This only excited Hiyori because she started to tighten her fingers around Sayu’s neck. She was seeing spots and could only hear ringing.

Maybe this would free Jonghyun. Maybe this is what he wanted.
