No pain, no gain.
I and Viktoria went to Chopsticks (
www.chopsticktattoo.org) in Osaka to do our tattoos today. We scheduled them about two months ago, and now it was finally time! I really looked forward to this.
Me before the inking starts. I was very nervous... hence the slightly desperate look in my eyes!
Tattooing in process. Not as bad as I imagined actually. Definitely not as bad as it sounded when people told me about getting tattooed (and especially in this area). But I think I handle pain quite well too. TON (the tattoo artist) seemed surprised too that it didn't hurt more for me. Luckily I was able to relax. I tried to breathe calmly and rythmically so that it would be easier for TON to do his work too.
Lineart done! TON works really fast. I was very impressed!
The finished thing! Wee! Starting to bleed a little here though. I will take better pictures when it has healed. TON did an awesome job. I am really pleased with it.
After it was covered up. TON took a break and let a couple of the girls that work there photo me, put ointments on, and change all the plastic coverings of the instruments for Viktoria's turn under the needle.
And the second cover up. Because I started to bleed alot and it wanted to go down my cleavage they had to change from that plastic to fabric. It is funny how careful they were not to touch my breasts. They kept apologizing for touching me anywhere near them, haha. I don't really mind though. We're all women right? It's not as if they haven't seen a breast before.
TON working on the sketch of Viktorias tattoo. She brought a reference picture last time of the type of tattoo she wanted. But she wanted some changes, and here he's in action - drawing it her way!
Inking the outlines.
This is the face of true PAIN!
Detailing.
Outlines and details all done!
Shading and highlighting in progress.
All done. Yay! Isn't it beautiful. I think it's gorgeous, and it really suits her well.

Satisfied customer.
This is the design that I drew and the tattoo artist worked from.
I'm off to clean my tattoo up now and then go to bed and try to sleep on my back (I hate that). See you guys!
