I went to a rock festival Friday/Saturday. Friday I wasn't feeling that well (I had popped some aspirin to get rid of my headaches and felt reeeeeaaaally sleepy) ...but I had to go since it's with work and we had already bought the 2-day pass a week ago. Talk about bad timing (with the two PE Exchanges ending as well). The guy I followed there started feeling queasy on Friday evening after we had watched the second band play, so we went home early anyways.

I did see Sugarplum Fairy on Friday. They were really good. The two singers in that band are brothers to the singer in Mando Diao... which might ring some bells.
On Saturday I was feeling much better so we stayed longer. We watched quite a few bands, although I didn't quite like some of them. But I did like The Soundtrack Of Our Lives, and Cult of Luna though! Man, Cult of Luna sort of finished the festival and they were awesome. As opposed to some of the other bands, you could actually make out the different instruments when they were playing. And though it was metal, my eardrums did not explode (even though they have two drummers, three guitarists, one bass guitar, one keyboard, and one singer). They had a very varied type of music. Sometimes soft and melodic, rising in a crescendo where they all rocked out. And they were so handsomely clad. All of them wore black jeans and white dress shirts. ♥ Very stylish. I approve!

All-in-all very good festival. I heard that they are going to do it next year as well.
