(no subject)
So I guess I'm posting.
I don't really know why. Just bored, I guess. But I said I'd post, so here goes.
Today was my first weekday off interning for a while, so it was kind of a do-nothing kind of day. I took stuff out of the PODS and put it in my room, but lost interest before actually managing to put it away. Then I moped around on the internet, and mom (who threw her back out and wasn't at work) and I went out for ice cream.
Apparently I'm a terrible driver. I don't know what it is, but with mom in the car I seem to always be screwing up and then she yells and then I feel bad. I did something kind of stupid because I was making a left turn with no left turn lane in an area I don't usually turn left in. Upon our return, she made a list of all the things I'm doing wrong when I drive. I swear I'm usually a good driver, but.... Yeah.
Luckily, I was cheered up. By a fanfic. You know how with some authors, you always feel good reading their stuff? Uzumaki-sama's "A Complete 180" updated a few weeks ago, and I finally read it, and it made me feel happy. It made me feel like sitting and reading something else (which I have yet to do). I'm just kind of amazed that someone's story can just change your mood so easily. I wonder if my writing will ever do that.
The much better things I have to say are that I FINALLY got a hold of a Baccano! book (Alice in Jails) and a Durarara!! book. In Japanese, of course. I'm kind of hoping to try and translate them for myself throughout the year. Since they're stories I genuinely enjoy, maybe I won't be put off by the daunting task of reading kanji.
Also my roommates for the coming year look freaking awesome. At least two of them are video game geeks like me, and I know one already from last year. I'm actually looking forward to going back to school! How unlike me. But there's still three weeks left before that. Man, my summer is so long.
SO YEAH. I told you I didn't have anything to say. What an unbelievably boring journal! What the hell?! You see why I didn't want to ever post anything?
Uhhhhh there must be something I can do to remedy this.

Someday, I'll make an interesting post. With some fiction or something. The most interesting part of this post is the weird mood set I made. I have no idea what picture goes with which mood.
