Jin's 1st Solo Album

I thought today might be a day to finally post something in my journal since, I haven't done so since 2010...yikes!!!
I read in the news today (although I am sure to be a few days late) that Jin will finally be releasing his first solo album and will be doing so (almost) simultaneously in the US and Japan. I must say it's been a long time since I've waited in such anticipation for an upcoming album. Since he left KAT-TUN, I must say my fan-girlishness has begun to lose some of it's flame. I did go to see him on his first US tour. Although, I am really tempted to go see him again on his upcoming tour, I don't think dissertation writing and work will permit me to do so...So then I must support him from afar by purchasing his album and following his reports on YouTube and Facebook.
I am not sure what 2012 will mean for my fan-girl habits as I leave the hallowed halls of graduate school for the real world. But I do know that I will remember the wild and craziness of buying black market Queen of Pirates tix for an obscene amount of money, buying photos and concert goods from fans around the world, driving home nearly 3 hours after a Sunday night concert in Chicago because I had to teach the following morning at 8:30am, and all the great experiences in between fondly and as a crucial part of my 20s.
Let us wait and see what 2012 brings, but if it be little, then I will cherish the memories.
But I will say that I am looking forward to the January, winter drama season that is about to begin....so many favorites at the same time....What is a girl to do!!??!!
