I just had to get this off my mind.
So yesterday I see Cloverfield with Joe, and then after it's over, there's these three people dicking around in front of us as we go to leave. How annoying, right?
And then one of them drops her bag, so I go to pick it up. (It was uber-shiny, I couldn't help it!)
And, honest to God. I know people say this a lot, but truly, on my life, this had to have been THE most beautifully stunning female... I. Have. EVER. Laid. Eyes. On...
I mean, for Christ's sake, it was almost ridiculously unfair how natural beauty is allowed to be focused all into one person. And y'know those bright, exuberant kind of eyes that just draw you in immediately? Yeah, that's what happened. It was like looking into two pristine emeralds, all laser-cut and gleaming! With the exception of a slightly off-color choice of nail polish that didn't really compliment her skin tone, but that's not the point...
So, for God knows how long, it turns out we ended up just standing there in awe for about 35 seconds or so, smiling at each other, according to Joe. (Awkward...) Finally some other guy behind me told me to move, so I got a grip momentarily. (More awkward...)
So her two friends just start talking to Joe, and he's like (wtf mate?) and this girl starts talking to me.
Now, for those of you who know me; how often do I not have something to say in general? Honestly, how often?
Well, for the record, I was speechless. End of story. It's like I couldn't even answer the "What's your name?" ordeal.
And do you know what the sad, yet haunting irony of this situation was?
...I kid you not, her name was Celia. (What are the odds?)
Picture the scenario,
"Well, I'm Celia."
".............."
"What's your name?"
".......James?"
"You sound unsure about that."
"....be..cause?"
If that's not pathetic, then....redeem me, please.
LmAo...well, long story short, I looked away... I know, I'm lame.
But for that brief few minutes, I definitely forgot every single problem I've ever had, sincerely for the first time in my entire life. Screw any other time in life I've said "That made me forget about my problems for awhile."
No... THAT was definitely a glimpse into Nirvana right there.
Yeah, so that's my story.
Then we left and went back to Joe's house and played Halo. LoL
That's the exciting conclusion to what I did, and the moral of what I should've done back there, heh...
So it was, that I phased back into the cold reality that I've always known.
Perhaps it was just two ships passing in the night.
I never said I believed in angels.
But that definitely could've been a possibility, y'know?
P.S. ~The movie was pretty good, too. ^^'
