Something made me remember the existence of LJ today. I'm not entirely sure what.
Here's a quick point-form update because if I attempted anything else straight off the bat i'd wear myself out and dissapear again :P
Gotta ease myself back in a little. Heh.
- Recently spent 2 years undertaking a research scholarship at the Kyoto International Manga Museum. I cannot begin to describe how awesome that was.
- Now finishing off Masters in Translation Studies at Monash University (kind of started it when I was over there, ...don't know how I talked them into that), also manager of the Manga Library at Monash and a research assistant for the Translation Studies department. Fun :)
- Due to graduate at the end of this year.
- Living with family for the first time in years ...nice.
- Speaking of family, my sister is spawning soon ...weird.
- I seem to have gotten better at Japanese.
- Am just as geeky as ever.
- Still keep accidentally forgetting to sleep occasionally like I always have.
- And have missed you all.
