Where I've Been, Where I'm Going
As I'm sure very few of you have noticed, I have found myself trickling further and further away from livejournal. There's not a specific reason, but it's happening.
I started a new job last month, and that's eaten into my free time quite a bit. But I always used to be able to fit lj and icon making into a full-time job/full-time school schedule, and I'm not anymore. A lot of my focus has gone into working on my blog lately, and I find myself having a lot of fun there. It's a different atmosphere than livejournal, and I think it's a change that is good for me.
I'm not planning on abandoning livejournal completely, I still check it every so often, but I don't find myself drastically missing it. My paid account and extra icons expired yesterday, and I don't plan on renewing them... the first time in many years that I won't have a paid account. I may start to crosspost my blog posts here, just for a little bit more of a spread, but don't expect a ton of personal posts again, anytime soon.
I will be posting the last icons I made before I stopped, at some point this week. I may eventually go back to icon making, however I make no promises.
