Phew.

Well, it's been a year and a half...a little more than that, actually...since my last post! We've been pretty busy!
On October 27, 2010, our daughter was born, Annwyn Reinette. She is beautiful and wonderful. She keeps us entertained! She was walking by 10 months, and now at almost 16 months is saying lots of word, and loves music and books.
Last spring, J got a temp job with a large factory in Lafayette, a job that hopefully will move to permanent. (He had an interview a week or so ago, so send good vibes!) We moved back down to the farm to live with my dad. My parents split up a couple months before we moved down, but that's another story. So anyway, we lived with Dad for several months, getting back on our feet financially. But it was more than an hour's drive for J to get to work, so we started to look for places in or around Lafayette. Funnily enough, the second place we looked at was perfect and available immediately and for the right price. If we decide we really love it, we even have the option to change our lease to a rent-to-own sale contract. And so far? We love it. We live in this little town called Otterbein, and it is really cozy. And the house is wonderful. 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths. Big kitchen, HUGE living room. And it's all newly renovated.
As for J's job, he really likes it, considering it's a factory job. He's good at it too, and they all seem to like him. One of his co-workers lives down the street, too, so they've been sharing rides to work to save gas.
I am now a stay-at-home-mom, and I love it. It's funny to me now how I used to be all, "I'm never having babies!" I still don't like most kids, to be honest, but Annwyn is just awesome. She's so smart and....awesome! You know how people say that you'll feel differently when it's your kids? It's all true. Anyway, I get to stay home with her, and it's great. It's so cool to watch her as she starts to transform from a little teeny baby to a real person.

In the past few days, I have gone back through all my old posts and deleted quite a few of them. They were no longer meaningful, and I just didn't want them in my LJ anymore. I left a few that entertained me or were still somewhat relevant, but I mostly did a large cull of random, nothing posts and emo, self-loathing rants.
I am hoping to make more use of my journal, thus the reason for the mass deletion of posts. I wouldn't have bothered if I didn't want to keep using the journal.

So there's an update of sorts, and hopefully I'll get around to using this more often. :)

babies, update, moving
