::Bad Timing!!::

Ugh, it's already week 2 for me at Marian. So far so good, but they do things weird. It's difficult because I'm trying to UN-learn what I have previously experienced with AG hospital. I'm trying to get used to the size of the hospital, and where everything is located. I feel weird there because I'm still in "training" mode, however I don't have to be as far as drawing blood is concerned...but still, the differences in procedures, and overall how things are done there is the only thing hard for me to grasp at the moment. But I'm trying, and enjoying being in the hospital environment again! ;)

I have also started helping out with Numbskull Productions at the door when shows come to San Luis Obispo. SO much fun. Next week (on Sunday) I am helping out with the Strung Out show. I helped out this yesterday while Agent Orange played. Sadly, I had to go to work at 4am this morning, and I was hurtin...I didn't stay for the whole show, but I stayed long enough. I was out of there by 10 or so...

I was also hurtin' because I woke up with a sore throat, I have a feeling Strep Throat is on its way in! Damn it. I can't get sick. No health insurance at the moment (I have to wait another 2 1/2 months or so). Viscious cycle I tell ya! Grr...

Well, I'm off to bed. Another long day ahead of me. I'm enjoying the fact that I have a busy schedule though! ;) The only thing I don't care for so much is the fact that my manager at the hospital changed my schedule w/o asking. Kinda frustrating when you're trying to incorporate another job in the picture. Oh wel, it's manageable.

Goodnight all.

*Stopped by Jocko's last night on the way home from SLO too! It was good to see Geoff, Melicia, and Lorraine. (Jesse and Al were there of course) It was good to see them. Funny how people look at you after a while of not being around. It's kinda nice. They have NO idea what's been going on within the last few months...I love it. I miss the people there (customers as well as some employees) but I'm better off. Talking to Geoff really is nice. I love his perspective on things.

I am happy with the things that have been occurring in my life lately. With the exception of the job scenario (or lack thereof a few weeks ago) I have overcome that. Things are better. Life is good. :) I am doing good for myself and getting things done! No drama. No sadness, really. Just enjoying my time and staying busy. :)
