In further news: bought many books recently, amongst them Rix (ed.), Etruskische Texte and a linguistic lexicon (for questions like 'wtf does hypocoristic mean, what's a hapax legomenon'). Yay for booksies.
I'm also considering buying my own sewing machine, because borrowing my mom's Bernina is a pain. I'll probably get me a fairly cheap Singer (I really like the early 20th century treadle ones with the cast iron stand, but where would I put it?).
