Sometime last fall we first noticed a cute cat running around just outside our place. Mostly white and extremely friendly (I would say at least as much as Punica). Because of the neediness it displayed, sis checked the collar. The address was just around the corner and letting cats out of the flat or house isn't that unusual at the outskirts of the city.
Some time ago Punica acted strangely, meowing at the door. When we looked outside we saw that someone had decided to let the cat in. And it couldn't get out by itself. (Smart kitty either wanted to meet the other cats or heard us still being awake late at night). So we let the cat out and sis called the owner to check if the cat can go home at any time.
Twenty minutes ago I decided to go to bed and suddenly there's the weird meeping sound. Obviously a cat, but definitely not one of ours. So, once again, to the rescue. Good thing kitty followed me. I'm uncomfortable picking up strange cats, diseases and all.
So I suppose I'll have to nicely phrase 'Don't let the cute cat in, morons. The stairwell is not better than outside when home is less than 100 metres away.' or something like that and tape it onto the doors.
