It's been a few weeks
Sorry I haven't been posting or commenting much *snicker* like I said I would. It's kind of tough to be online much because I'm having trouble with one eye. I can only deal with being on the computer for short bursts, and I use most of that time to do work. All should be back to normal after next week, though because I'm having minor surgery to remove a disgusting growth in my eyelid. It's called a chalazion, and they're pretty common, but this one herniated through the inside of my lid and is now pressing on my eye, so has to be removed. *shudders* TMI? Sorry. :P Sounds worse than it is, but reading and looking up at the monitor are irritating, so I have to limit my time online. :(
We're starting to re-decorate our living room this weekend. Well, we already started, got a new couch and recliner, but this weekend we start the grunt work: repairing some of the plaster work in the doorway arches that cracked while doing the kitchen renovation. Then we're going to paint and re-arrange things and hubby is building two matching cabinets: one for DVDs and one for CDs. Should really un-clutter things in the room. Right now we have a tall CD case and 4 DVD towers, two of which don't match :( Next year we'll see if we have enough to re-do the hard wood flooring in the living room. Then all we really have left to re-do is the bathroom and we'll have a brand new house. :P Well, it feels like it, any way :P
Other than that, not much going on.Have been taking Cayman for longer walks. It's better for both of us. (keeps repeating this so it sinks into my head). She got to within an eyelash of Robin for lunch today. I can't believe the stupid bird didn't fly away sooner. It was just glaring at this 7 pound ball of fur hurdling toward it at top speed, but it didn't move until the last second. I think it was teasing her. *wink*
OK, kiddies, that's about all I can stand for now, off to warm-pack the old eye now. *huggles the flisters*
