I'm such a loser at playing cards... I trained on the computer this weekend and he already kicked my ass four times with 32 games each. I think I'll just give it up and back out of the tournament I wanted to play in. *sigh*
But I'm quite proud of myself anyway. I spend a lot of the weekend cleaning and reinstalling my old aquarium and it looks really good by now. I've even put one of those ground.heaters in. I'm not really sure if it will do any good, but it's worth a try, I never had one.
Moreover, I finally sent a few pieces of my writing to a magazine. I really did it! Hope is such a sweet thing, I hope they won't take it from me too soon. In fact, I hope they won't take it from me at all but prove it to be well founded.
The discussion about homosexual priests is all over the news-papers. The day before yesterday, I read an article that drove me crazy. Some archbishop was quoted: "I cannot think of how a man in his senses would be having a sexual relationship with another man. Even in the world of animals, dogs, cows, lions, we don't hear of such things." "God created two persons - male and female. Now the world of homosexuals has created a third - a homosexual, neither male nor female - a strange two-in-one human." I can't believe it. This man must be living behind some moon I've never even heard of! a) I've got a book of 750 pages on homosexuality in animals. b)How the heck does he define male and female!? Nobody has talked of a third gender in ages. The guy's name is Akinola, by the way. If you ever meet him, run!
