It's so nice to see the City give us a chance to carry on as usual in between curses. And everyone I've spoken to has been wonderfully helpful and friendly. It's been a pleasure to speak to all of you!

Radu has been rather insistent that he is innocent of the treason he committed and wishes to be allowed to speak to Ion. He made such a sincere plea, it was so~ moving.

It makes one wonder~ exactly~ why he's so insistent.

Ion is not to speak to him. However should both you and I be present, and only in that case, I may allow it. I'm sure you understand me.

He tried that ploy with me as well, Duchess, as well as took drastic measurements to slander my name and appeal to other's natures, in order to convince them that the Count of Memphis would be better off with him.

I understand. It only shows how well you must have been handling the situation that they were forced to resort to such an extreme measure.
