Guess who's doomed? Guess! Guess!
Bleah... Okay, so Genetics midterm number 2 is going down at 8:30 in the morning for Friday, March 5. Now, I was a good little student and even walked to and from the rather late-night review session in POURING RAIN (mind you, the location was pretty much on the opposite side of campus), and I'm doomed. Yep, I be doomed. As in, during the review session, I learned we're being tested on something the TA referred to as (I believe) "killer prunes."

Wildtype...tetrad...FREQUENCY?! He tried to explain it about two or three times, and I STILL have no clue what the heck he was talking about. Argh! Well, I think I'll be more or less ok with the three-point testcrosses and probably the complementation test, and I can probably handle figuring out map units, but some of the stuff they went over in the review session had me COMPLETELY lost, even after multiple explanations (actually, I got further lost with each subsequent attempt at explaining it). So, yeah... I'll keep trying to stare at the book and hope something sinks in tonight for a bit (a.k.a reread the darn thing), but I don't think I'm going to do well on this at all... *sigh* Especially since this is supposed to be much harder than our first test...and I only got a 61 on that. -_-;;;
