Oy...
Well, Adrian's been a lovely handful lately. I'm not entirely sure why, but recently, he's apparently decided that he simply does NOT want to nap for more than maybe an hour at a time. He'd much rather be awake and toted around by Mommy or a grandparent. The sad thing is, you can just tell that the little guy is plain plumb exhausted, but he refuses to take a proper nap. The good news? When he finally does go down at night, he's usually down for quite a while, so my sleep's been pretty good lately, even if his isn't.
Also, and I'm not quite certain if it relates, but he's had a couple of incidences where, for no explicable reason, he wakes up from a dead nap just SCREAMING. These have all been during daytime hours (thank goodness), but I don't know what causes them. Tummyaches? Nightmares? No idea. Poor little guy.
In other news, we've broken out our Monster Puzzle. It is so named because this is a 5000 piece Ravensburger of a unicorn in the woods. We're talking this sucker is almost as long as I am tall. And, to boot, almost all of it is some shade of green and/or brown with flowers or little woodland critters or fairy folk here and there. There's also badgers and mushrooms on it, and with the triumphant calls of having found pieces of them as such "Badger!" or "Mushroom!", I can't help but think "Badger badger badger badger..." XD
