Surreality strikes again!
So, this morning, I was presented with a potted plant (some sort of daisy or mum, I think. It has purple flowers) and a card from my co-workers in sympathy for my miscarriage and subsequent surgery. It was so sweet of them. Amusingly enough, the card they chose for me was the Selene card that I gave you, yuuo. That was the high point of the day. It's all gone downhill since.
My bloody car is broken down. I'm not entirely certain exactly what's wrong with it. The first symptom was a SERIOUS coolant leak--as in the antifreeze tank went from full to empty in about four hours. Yeah, scary. Then, the serpentine belt came off the track, robbing me of power steering and the like and causing the engine to overheat. This is evidently because something's gone wonky with the water pump. And, of course this has to happen when my folks are out of town and my brother has the extra car. -_- But, C.J.'s doing his darnedest to make it work again, so that's good.
