So here's the dream I had yesterday. It was very vivid and real so I decided to write it down. Just in case, you know, it was like a Stephanie Meyer moment and like I come up with the next best seller. Just kidding. I don't think I can come up with sparkly vampires while sleeping. But it was a ridiculously crazy dream and if you've heard some of my dreams before you'd agree. So here goes.
"We were running, the 4 of us, from the organization that hired us. Out of our entire team, only the 4 of us remained. The rest have either been captured or killed. We had no weapons. We had no where to run. But we were running, cause that's all we could do.
We ran into a multi-story car park. Even the gentle slopes of ramps seemed like a tall order when on the run from trained assassins.
Half-way through, we lost Maria. I vaguely remember her going down a different stairwell but it was all happening too fast, I wasn't sure.
The 3 of us ran to the top of the stairwell only to be confronted by the Management. The group of elites who controlled our team of agents.
"It's the end of the road girls. Stop running. It's easier this way." The Man had short immaculately coiffed blonde hair. For a moment I wondered if he actually knew how to operate a gun. Then, he took one out and aimed it at us.
Relying on my fight or flight instinct, I bolted. And the girls followed. The strangest thing was the Management didn't seen to run after us. Neither the Man nor his cronies seemed to care. Though, they did fire some shots at us.
Then I figured out why. There was a bomb in the stairwell and they probably had a way out. I managed to escape just in time. The fate of my 2 companions however remain unknown.
Suddenly, I saw Maria! I was filled with such relief but her eyes betrayed her. Something felt off. And then it hit me. She tried to explain how she managed to save the situation but to me it just sounded like noise.
I knew. I knew that she orchestrated all this. Not too sure why. But I knew that I had to leave to fight another day. I made some lame excuse about being tired and exhausted, and she kept getting me to shake the hand of a scruffy looking old lady.
As I made my way down the car park ramp, I turned back to see a burly man chasing me. I ran for a bit, then I figured resistance was probably futile. So I stopped. And the burly man pinned me to a pillar with his hand on my throat and a gun to my stomach,
I thought, shit I'm really going to die. And in those brief moments I looked death in the face. My would-be killer was actually kind of cute. Like he was buff but had a boy-next-door sunshine look. And so I decided to go with it. Why not have some fun before I for right. So I said "I know you have to kill me, but it'd be sad if I just died like that. Would it be okay if I kissed you?"
Mister tough and macho was actually taken aback. He started mumbling and was all shy!
Now this is where it gets weird.
He gives me his name card and let's me go. And when I turn back to look at the crazy bitch Maria, she's no longer there. I see my family, my boyfriend, my friends and all of us seem to be having a major celebratory party. I turn to my boyfriend who's surprisingly smartly dressed and asked "What did I miss? What happened?" Pulling me close, he whispered "Nothing babe, nothing.""
WTH RIGHT?
I was wondering if the last bit is like my vanilla sky moment. Hmmm.
