A few days ago I wrote Hadas a letter:
"Dear Hadas,
You've behaved SO well this week.
Thank you!
Love, Ima."
And it's still the case, she has on the whole behaved pretty damn well the whole week, sharing with her friends, not being overly stubborn about choices, acquiescing to getting in and out of showers without too much fuss and more. And I think I've behaved pretty well too, given her a little more time to do stuff, choosen which things to stand my ground on and what wasn't worth it. Made sure to leave at least an hour a day to her and probably some for myself too so that I wasn't wiped out by the time I got to her. Using humour (and lets be honest the occasional light bribery) to persuade her. And of course Instant Forgiveness. The main thing I learnt this year.
I must admit, moving "How to Talk...:" back into the bathroom really helped.
