Storyline Hardships and Shoujo Manga made by Boys

The thing is...

Having 8 months to finish the main story line is something that bugs me. It sorta feels so hard. But the anticipation of being able to pull it off and finishing it is just too exhilirating.

I can't wait to make the final character designs. I can't wait to make the script. The storyboards. I can't wait to make the panels and the pages of the first volume. I can't wait to make the first cover art and sell it in komikon.

I can't wait for our 'child' (how we call our manga creations) to make his debut in the local comic scene.

But for now, on with the constant debating about the reasons behind the plot. On with the numerous timelines and sequences of events. On with the fight sequence formulation. On with the character developments. On with the patching of story holes.

ARGH. But it is essential so I musn't lose heart.:O

I don't want a simple storyline.>__< hyaaa

Also, I noticed that a lot of local manga have love stories as the main plot. And they are usually made by boys?! Wow.

I have nothing against it. But I was kind of surprised that boys these days are so inclined to making love stories and funny romances.

And to think I'm a girl and all I can do is shonen manga.:D Where's my femininity? LOL

I guess each to his own salvation.:D
