"Sometimes I think my life would have been a lot easier if I had been born male. Then I'd never have menstruational cramps. And if a girl was complaining about menstruational cramps, I'd say, 'Hahaha! You're a sissy! I am a man, and therefore I have a loud, boisterous voice. I do not have boobs, so I don't wear a bra. No, I am a manly man! I have a Y-chromosome. And now I shall go do something very manly, like... drinking beer. Yes. And you can go polish your nails.'"
In other news; I really did think my job would be difficult. Once again I was proven wrong. Between meals I spend a lot of time sitting around, doing nothing, waiting for something to do, occasionally stopping someone from undressing. Luckily there are also times when there's a lot to do, otherwise I'd go insane. Or I'd have to consider chatting with my co-workers, which could prove to be, uh... uninteresting? Dull? Painful? Excruciating? Except Guðrún, of course. She's the reason I considered this job in the first place, but unfortunately she's going to quit soon.
Oh, and evening shifts are my friends. They are quieter than morning shifts, but I get paid more. Morning shifts successing evening shifts are not my friend, though. Six hours of sleep and eight hours of work are no fun. I'd prefer it the other way round.
BEEP! BEEP! RAMBLE-ALARM! RAMBLE-ALARM!
Oops, sorry...
