(no subject)
Still haven't finished HBP, and I stand with my theory about the Half-Blood Prince. The amount of time that goes into romance annoys me a bit, but otherwise I'm enjoying it very much. Tom Riddle is awesome.
Yesterday I bought Kristján a birthday present. I got him two DVDs; "Labyrinth" and "Jabberwocky". We watched "Labyrinth" yesterday and I came to the conclusion that when I saw the movie as a kid, I was way too young to appreciate how hot David Bowie is as the Troll King. Growl.
So I didn't download "Speed of Sound". Instead I decided to treat myself for a change and bought the whole X&Y album. I just came home, so I haven't listened to it yet. I was in Kringlan with Jared. He bought a bunch of computer games and the old "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"-film. I'm looking very much forward to seeing the Oompa-loompas again.
I was going to buy the new Turin Brakes album, but I couldn't find it anywhere, so I suppose I'll give Lísa a hint what I want for Christmas. Wink wink, nudge nudge, know what I mean, know what I mean?
Afterwards we went to Nexus. I bought two books; a Gaiman and a Pratchett. The last Gaiman book I've read was a children's book, but it still gave me the creeps, so I'm not intending to read this new book in the middle of the night.
At Nexus I met Gísli, who was being very Gísli, but his hair looked strangely blonde.
My hair tends to look absolutely perfect these days, so when things don't go my way, I can think: "Hey, look on the bright side; at least I look absolutely perfect."
