I just found out that Radiohead are in fact English, not American like I used to think. They met at Oxford University, just like John Cleese and Graham Chapman. Or was it Terry Jones and Michael Palin?
So this decreases the number of American bands that I love.
Isn't it strange that the rock'n'roll was born in America, yet the best rock bands are from the UK? What happened to all the original, peppy stuff from the US that influenced all the great English bands of the 60s? Did American music more or less die at some point, so that they have to produce the same crappy stuff over and over again?
Ok, maybe I'm a bit unfair. After all, annoying boy groups were invented in England if I'm not mistaking. Robbie Williams. Brrr! *shudders*
I seem to remember telling my mum that I was going to bed. That was more than an hour ago. No wonder I'm tired.
